Samira and all of her staff members were wonderful. Breakfast was prepared fresh every morning at a time of our choosing. The eggs were served anyway you wanted them. Crepes were hot, jams, pita bread, yogurt, fresh squeezed orange juice, coffee and mint tea. The riad was nicely decorated with brightly colored tapestries and arabic furniture and wall hangings. Dinner at the riad was very good and the cost was reasonable at 15 euros. Samira and her staff also entertained the crowd with traditional dancing displays including bellydancing. The riad was also located close to shopping and a couple of very good restaurants in the medina.

If you are staying in the medina keep in mind that the restaurant options are very limited. Moroccan food is good but very limited in selections and options. It is pretty much 1 soup, couscous and tagine. There are more options and food varieties in Guelitz (new town) which is a 15 min cab ride from the medina.

I loved this property - stunningly beautiful hotel.

The room was extremely spacious and quiet and since it had down pillows I slept like a baby. The views across courtyard were magnificent.

Great Riad, pretty, very quite and peaceful, great breakfast and super friendly staff, highly recommendable.

The location of the riad is not as close to the jamaa el fna as it says on the map, its about 10-15 minutes walk into the souks. once you have found it, its easy to find back.

Zehar was perfect for us, a lovely place, good location by souks and run by a nice family who were very friendly and helpful. They are happy to arrange trips and will sort a taxi to and from the airport. We also took advantage and ate there one night. My family loved the breakfasts (moroccan pancakes) and moroccan mint tea was available any time. Also had wifi which pleased the kids after a long day exploring the city. The roof top terrace was a bonus too. We opted to pay in cash in euros but they will take local currency or credit card (with 10% fee).

Lovely riad, clean, beautifully decorated and incredebly relaxed atmosphere. Comfortable room with a big bathroom. Very good localitation, closed to Jemaa El Fna. The staff, Youseff and Aisha, wonderful people. Them make our staying in Marrakech unforgettable. If you like interesting experiences try the hamman.

The first time quite difficult to find it, but then that becomes easy and it doesn´t suppose any problem.

They upgraded us to their sister Riad (Princesse du Desert) which was just a few doors down from Zehar and was very high quality. Great staff, very helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Great quiet location but difficult to find! Great breakfast!

The staff are lovely and very helpful, especially Aisha who pretty much lives there making sure you get everything you need. She brought us mint tea regularly and did our washing for us (we gave her about £5 for this, she is too nice to ask for money, but washing is not part of her job, it is an extra so you need to give her some money). It was a nice little Riad a reasonable distance to Jma El Fna and other sights inside the medina.

We went in August and it was 45 degrees! The room was clean and comfortable but a bit small, which wouldn't usually be a problem, as there is a lot of outside space at the Riad, but in August you spend the middle part of the day trying to escape the sun and even the outside areas are far too hot (thank goodness for the air con in the room), so a room with a sofa or a bit more space would have been nice. If you are going in July or August, it might be worth going for a more expensive riad, with a nice big room, as you might spend the hottest part of the day there! Be warned, there are only curtains between the bedroom and bathroom, not just here but in many riads, so if you and whoever you are in the room with are shy, you might find it embarrassing! Also, on the last day the Riad manager offered to make us dinner at the Riad along with the other guests, as we were all leaving the following day. It was a very nice dinner, but as we were leaving and our Riad manager was walking us to get a cab he asked us for 33 Euros for our part of the meal (we were two of the 7 people who ate the dinner). We were going to give him a big tip anyway and we had taken out just about enough money for tips for the Riad staff, but that last minute bill ate up most of his tip money. So if you are offered dinner on your final day, bear in mind you will be charged for it.

Location: very quiet yet near the souks of the medina. Welcoming staff. Excellent staff assistance with orientation walk in the medina. Very good breakfast.

Our room (Menara) was a bit small small having luggage with us. 5% surcharge when paying with credit/debit card was not clear when we booked.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hidden gem nestled in the heart of a vibrant marketplace. The hotel's attention to detail, from the traditional Moroccan furniture to the stunning terrace where I enjoyed my breakfast, created an authentic and charming atmosphere. The location was ideal, just a few minutes' walk from the buzzing main square. The staff's warm hospitality was exceptional, making me feel right at home during my stay. I was impressed by their willingness to accommodate my large party, ensuring that we were comfortable in our spacious rooms with balconies overlooking the peaceful inner court. The breakfast spread was delicious, providing a satisfying start to each day of my stay.

Nothing to fault - everything was perfect!

I had an amazing stay at this hotel in Marrakesh. the location is perfect, situated in a good area inside the Medina. It's close to the main square and one of the medina gates, so getting around was a breeze. Secondly, the service and staff were exceptional. Like a family, they made me feel so welcome and looked after all my needs. They provided great advice on places to visit and eat, ensuring I had the best local experience. Lastly, the rooms were lovely with unique decor and comfortable amenities. I particularly enjoyed the room with a balcony overlooking the inner court, providing a cozy and peaceful atmosphere.

Everything was taken care of impeccably.
